Registration Page Redesign Back to Wallop

Shown below are explorations around how to improve the Wallop registration page to increase membership. Since Wallop is an invitation-only social network, the goal of the registration landing page is to showcase Wallop as a different and cool place to hang out with friends.

Alternative 1
In this alternative, the required registration information is shown in the middle portion of the page. To the left is a filmstrip displaying a random selection of public Wallop photos. To the right are a random selection of Wallop profile pictures, followed by a brief description of Wallop and a screenshot of a public Wallop profile.

Alternative 2
This alternative contains the same content as the first alternative, except with a top-to-bottom layout as opposed to a left-to-right layout.

Alternative 3
This third alternative takes a different approach than pursued in the first two alternatives. The idea behind this approach was to create a more engaging registration page by surfacing content that the person viewing the page could relate to. In other words, the registration page would show information related to the person sending the invitation to join Wallop. The recipient of the invitation would see the inviter's profile, profile image, status, as well as recent uploads (such as pictures and songs) on the registration page.
