Get Invited Back to Wallop

Although Wallop is an invitation-only social network, non-members are able to view limited portions of some users' profiles. When they begin to interact with parts of the profile that are for members only, they will be prompted to request an invitation to join Wallop. Non-members can either request an invitation from the user whose profile they happen to be viewing, or send a general invitation request to Wallop. Shown here is how the process of requesting an invitation to join Wallop would work.

Here, the non-member has clicked on a portion of the profile that is for members only. They are shown a modal dialog indicating this to them and asking if they would like to sign in (if they are already a Wallop member) or get invited to Wallop (if they do not already have a Wallop account).

Upon selecting "Get Invited," the non-member is presented with a couple of options. They can either request an invitation from the user whose profile they are viewing or request an invitation from Wallop in general.

Alternative 1
The non-member chooses to request an invitation from the user whose profile they are viewing. One alternative of this screen asks the person for their name, email, birthday, and location, while also allowing them to enter an optional personal message to send to the Wallop user along with their invitation request.

Alternative 2
Shown here is a simpler version of the form that only asks for the person's name and email, with the ability to send an optional message to the Wallop user along with their invitation request.

This screen shows how the invitation request would appear to the Wallop user. The user clicks on the "Invites" button at the top of their profile and a dialog appears, showing the invitations they have sent as well as the invitation requests they have received.
