SWIMM: SWimming In My Music

SWIMM is an adaptive music player that allows users to create streams of constantly playing music. SWIMM suggests songs to play in the stream, taking into consideration the user's preference and feedback to the system.

For this project, I worked on maintaining and improving the existing SWIMM interface. I brainstormed various design alternatives for improvements to the interface. Also, I added GUI elements allowing users to rate songs and provide feedback to the system. Users are able to specify whether they prefer that a specific song, artist, album, or genre be played more or less frequently. Additionally, they can ban songs from being played temporarily or permanently. I also added a preferences panel allowing users to view the feedback they have given to the system, which enables them to undo previous choices.
